    Terry White, President of Volunteer Guild

    Terry White is one of Saratoga Hospital’s most dedicated volunteers and is the 2020-21 President of Saratoga Hospital Volunteer Guild. Terry has dedicated 11 years and more than 8,000 hours of service, primarily in the Saratoga Hospital Emergency Department. Terry has also served on the Volunteer Guild’s Executive Board for the last nine years.

    “I was an educator during my work life,” Terry says. “Upon retirement, I looked for an opportunity to provide a service to my community. Saratoga Hospital is a warm and wonderful healthcare facility that embraces the volunteers and makes them an important part of the hospital team. The Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment, staffed with dedicated professionals who are wonderful people. I am honored to work by their sides. Each day is a new experience, and I am proud to help in any way that I can.”

    Terry is also a dedicated family man. He and his wife, Jan, have three wonderful grandsons The two who are school-aged receive the benefit of Terry’s experience as an educator. He and his wife enjoy helping to tutor them. They also like to travel and go south every winter. Terry is a self-proclaimed golf fanatic, playing whenever the opportunity arises.
