Pulmonary rehabilitation helps patients with chronic lung disease breathe better and improve overall health and strength. Through an individualized program of education and exercise, we help you develop the skills and knowledge to manage your breathing condition so you can do more.
Pulmonary Rehabilitation Services
Services are provided by a team of healthcare professionals who monitor your pulse and oxygen saturation levels while you exercise. Education sessions cover important information on lung disease, medication, nutrition, how to prevent infection, and how to remain calm when you feel short of breath. Because they are attended by other patients with chronic lung disease, these sessions also serve as a source of support.
Once you complete the program, for a nominal fee, you can continue to use our exercise equipment as a member of our After Therapy Club.
Pulmonary rehabilitation is offered Monday through Friday at the Regional Therapy Center at Care Lane. A physician referral is required.
