Newsweek Again Recognizes Saratoga Hospital as One of the “World’s Best”

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y., March 29, 2023—Saratoga Hospital, a member of the Albany Med Health System, has been named one of “The World’s Best Hospitals” by Newsweek for the third year in a row.

Newsweek announced the rankings earlier this month. With 171 beds, the hospital is the smallest New York State facility to earn the designation.

“We have an extraordinary team with a well-deserved reputation for compassion and excellence in care,” said Jill J. VanKuren, president and CEO of Saratoga Hospital. “This recognition acknowledges their dedication to the community, and the quality of the healthcare they provide.”

The rankings are compiled by Newsweek and partner Statista, a research and analysis service. Their 2023 World’s Best list recognizes 2,300 hospitals in 28 countries.
