Dr. Carrie McNeil Joins Saratoga Hospital’s Growing Mechanicville Primary Care Practice

Dr. McNeilSARATOGA SPRINGS, NY, January 10, 2018 —Dr. Carrie McNeil is the newest member of Saratoga Hospital Primary Care-Mechanicville. She joins Dr. Stephen Sgambati and Dr. Lauris Petersen in the practice, which was established this fall.

“We are committed to increasing access to healthcare in Mechanicville, and that begins with primary care,” said Dr. Richard Falivena, vice president and chief medical and physician integration officer at Saratoga Hospital. “Dr. McNeil has strong ties to the region and shares our compassionate, individualized approach to patient care. She is a welcome addition to our team.”

The hospital is currently renovating space for the practice on Central Avenue in Mechanicville. Until that office opens, all three physicians are seeing patients at 2911 Route 9, Malta, off Exit 13.

Dr. McNeil comes to Saratoga Hospital from Glens Falls Hospital’s Salem Family Health Center. She grew up in Greenwich, N.Y., and attended Greenwich Central Schools.

A graduate of Hamilton College, Dr. McNeil earned a medical degree from State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. She completed an internship and residency at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr. McNeil is board certified in family medicine.
