Spring into Fitness!
Each spring, Saratoga Hospital hosts an Employee Wellness Fair as part of its commitment to our dedicated staff who exemplify the best in teamwork and patient care.
This year’s theme is “Spring into Fitness,” which fits in perfectly with May’s Employee Health & Fitness Month. Saratoga Hospital Medical Group – Sports Medicine’s own James Kelley, MD, will be available on Wednesday from noon to 4 p.m. to answer all your fitness questions and schedule new patient appointments.
To encourage participation in wellness activities, the Hospital’s Wellness Committee is sponsoring several drawings for a gift card to a local business, such as Fresh Market, Hannaford, Downtown Business Association members, and more. To have their name entered in the drawings, staff must do three things: check in at the registration table; have their blood pressure checked; and donate either $1 or one non-perishable food item.
The donations benefit the Saratoga Community Health Center Food Pantry. For those who can’t attend one of the Wellness Fairs, the fair organizers will provide everything to offsite practice managers, and staff can participate in the drawings through them.
We are grateful to all the vendors who will be there, offering a variety of tips for exercise or nutrition, displaying their wares, providing free samples, and holding their own drawings. There are several new vendors this year, and for the first time, vendors will be allowed to sell their products, including Essential Oils, Saratoga Olive Oil, Saratoga Tea and Honey, and Honey Bee Rich Body Care.
Everyone enjoys the annual Wellness Fair, and this year, the Wellness Committee outdid themselves. Thanks to all of them for doing such a great job!
