Quadir M. Webster, Unit Secretary in the Intensive Care Unit, meets the needs of a wide variety of people, including critically sick patients, family members, nurses, physicians and other hospital staff members. He inputs medical orders into the system, maintains patient charts, communicates information to various hospital staff, and collects and maintains nursing records for the unit.

“One thing I find truly interesting about my line of work is the number of educational opportunities,” Quadir says. “You learn so much from just about everyone you meet, even just sitting in on an academic huddle on my unit. I am currently seeking my degree in Health Communication, and I think acquiring this position was a huge step in my career goals. I feel like I am getting a candid inside view of Saratoga Hospital and the amazing people who work here.”

Quadir particularly appreciates all the people from many walks of life that he meets at Saratoga Hospital each day. "Working within these walls, you come in contact with some of the most extraordinary people among patients and staff. My team is especially caring and dedicated. I like to connect with individuals and share my compassion, as you never know what someone is going through. A few moments of kindness can make a situation a little better for someone."

Some of Quadir’s favorite things to do outside of work include the creative arts, such as writing, music and photography. He also tries to spend as much time with his family as possible.

Quadir Webster is one of many compassionate, skilled professionals here at Saratoga Hospital.
