    Marvin Maldonado

Marvin D. Maldonado, CHEC II, is a shift leader in our Public Safety Department, working on the main campus and all offsite locations of Saratoga Hospital. He joined us in March 2015, as a Public Safety Officer for five years before his promotion.

Marvin is also an active member of the Public Safety Administrative Team. He counsels, mentors and trains Public Safety officers in accordance with hospital and Public Safety policies and procedures. He provides support to staff, employees, visitors and patients when supervisory intervention is needed or requested. Marvin leads training for staff in a variety of topics, such as active shooter, workplace violence and situational awareness. He also works alongside local police agencies and the Saratoga County Coroner’s office.

“No two days are the same in our department,” Marvin says. “From the moment I walk through the doors and receive that initial briefing, I’m excited and ready. In our field of work, you must be able to quickly adapt and face new challenges. It’s important to be comfortable meeting many different people. I take pride in providing safety and security for Saratoga Hospital staff and the community.”

When not working, Marvin enjoys physical fitness and relaxing at home with his cat, Rocky. He recently graduated from SUNY Empire State College, with a degree in social science

Marvin Maldonado is one of many compassionate, skilled professionals here at Saratoga Hospital.
