    Lori Ann Carman, Unit Secretary

    female medical secretary sitting at desk Lori Ann Carman is the unit secretary for one of our medical-surgical units in Saratoga Hospital.

    In this position, she is the main hub of the unit. She is the first person patients and visitors see when entering the unit, and the last person they see as they leave.

    As a unit secretary, she not only performs secretarial duties but also operates the telephones and directs traffic throughout the unit and sometimes the Hospital.

    After working here a little over four years, Lori Ann says she still loves feeling like she is making a difference. “I’m excited to come to work every day,” she says. “At the end of my shift, I have a sense of accomplishment. It’s so rewarding to know that I have given my best to make a difference in someone’s life. I think all the staff feels that way. I truly believe that’s what makes Saratoga Hospital a special place to work.”

    Lori Ann enjoys a great game of golf when she’s not working, and spending quality time with her family. Lori Ann is one of many compassionate, skilled professionals here at Saratoga Hospital.
