    Blog: Don't Wait

So, there’s this twinge in your lower right side. An hour later, the pain returns and it’s definitely worse, getting your attention.

Your doctor’s office is already closed for the day. You’re afraid to go to the hospital because of COVID-19. You worry about exposure, and worse, bringing it home to your family.

But, in fact, it’s a lot more dangerous for you to stay home. Dont wait, clock

At Saratoga Hospital, we are doing everything possible—screening, disinfecting, requiring masks, implementing a no-visitors policy—to keep you, our staff, and all of our patients safe. The sooner you come in, the sooner we can treat you and help you get better. It’s always smarter to get medical attention early, when treatment is more likely to be effective.

If you have an unexplained pain that is getting worse, and you just know something’s not right, these are signs you should call your doctor or go to the hospital.

Trouble breathing? Chest pain? Call 9-1-1 or go straight to your nearest emergency room. Maybe it’s not heart attack, but you don’t know until you go.

Simply stated: Don’t wait. Most of our sickest patients are people that simply waited too long to come to the hospital. And while they waited, their condition deteriorated. Don’t make the same mistake.
